Website Platform and Responsibility
The Fargo Public Schools website is managed through a third-party content management system, Finalsite Composer, which provides templates and tools designed to support accessible web content.
While the platform supports accessibility at a structural level, Fargo Public Schools is responsible for the content published on the site and is committed to ensuring that content is as accessible as possible. Some accessibility features may depend on third-party systems and may be outside of our direct control.
Language Accessibility
To improve access for non-English speakers, Fargo Public Schools uses Weglot to provide automated website translation.
While this tool helps make content more understandable, translations are generated automatically and may not always be fully accurate or accessible. Users who need assistance accessing translated content are encouraged to contact us for support.
Known Accessibility Limitations
While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across all content, some areas of the website may not yet be fully accessible. These may include:
- Some PDF documents that are not fully optimized for accessibility
- Older video content that may not include captions or transcripts
- Third-party applications or embedded content that are outside of our direct control
- Occasional inconsistencies in heading structure or form labeling
We are actively working to identify and address these issues as part of our ongoing accessibility efforts.
